9 Days Gorilla Tracking Safari

Day 1: Arrival
We will pick you from the Airport and depart with your guide to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Cassia Lodge/ Guesthouse. BB

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park with an option of white rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. On reaching the park you will drive to the top of the falls to see how the calm Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge through which it explodes into the falls. Checkin at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Red Chilli Rest Camp. FB

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
Early morning, depart for a sunrise game drive on the northerly parts of the park along in the Paraa section. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife. At 2pm, take a boat cruise to the bottom of the mighty falls, you will see Hippos, crocodiles, elephants and other animals, as well as a variety of bird species, European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Dinner & overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Red Chilli Rest Camp. FB

Day 4: Transfer to Fort portal
After an early morning breakfast, depart from Murchison Falls N.P with Lunch en route. Dinner and over night at Mountains of the Moon/Kluges Guest House. FB

Day 5: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Afternoon at 2pm, take a launch trip on Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George, during this a launch trip , will see a pool of hippos, herds of elephants, and lots of wildlife, and birds. Later in the afternoon, drive to the crater region where you will take a hike to the craters as you enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Bush Lodge. FB

Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
A morning wake up call for an early morning breakfast. Our morning safari of Queen Elizabeth National park starts around 6:30am. We depart for a sunrise game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around the crater Lakes in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife. Later, return for breakfast and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight at the Mahogany Springs/ Buhoma Community Rest Camp. FB

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking
Well prepared with you packed lunch, cameras, water, rain jackets, long pair of trouser and hiking boots and other gear, you will assemble for briefing from the rangers about gorilla tracking the great adventure and experience! The time taken to encounter these peaceful primates is impulsive for it may take1-10 hours. Nevertheless, on encounter, one may be forced to say, it is stunning!!!! After the adventure a certificate awaits the successful tracker. The day is not easy at times but appealing. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs/ Buhoma Community Rest Camp. FB

Day 8:Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast drive to Kampala arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon spend whole afternoon volunteering at Hearts vision a charity organisation working with street children in Uganda providing vulnerable children with food, medicine, clothing, shelter and education. Dinner & Overnight at Cassia Lodge/ ICU Guesthouse. FB

Day 9: Volunteering at Hearts Vision
After breakfast, visit Hearts-Vision home for other activities, visit the slums, the children still on streets and be part of the rehabilitation process, interact with the children, study the bibles with the inhouse children, get involved in learning activities. Choose to impact a life today. Depending on time of your flight, transfer to the Airport for your homebound flight.
