Rwanda’s tourism peak season is here againAlso known as a busy season, a tourism peak season in Rwanda is when the number of visitors who jet into the country to look at its wonderful attractions increase. Though the climatic conditions in the country have slightly changed compared to those of last year, it has not hindered the season which according to tour operators brings life to the sector. They receive very many clients from different parts of the world during this period and all national parks get busy.

One may need to know what is so special with this period that starts from July to late September but the main reason why this season is regarded as the best is because of the continuous receiving of tourists who bring in revenue into the country. It is not yet clear why they opt for this period but one of the strong reasons is because of the winter season in most of the western countries.

In Africa, Rwanda is one of the leading tourism destination that has made its name through the uniqueness of the attractions which are hard to find elsewhere. The presence of the rare mountain gorillas is the prime reason why the country has gained a competitive advantage over other African countries. Many gorilla trackers head to this East African country simply to look at these rare primates in their natural habitats as they graze and play. Though these magnificent apes are found in Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo, it is believed that Rwanda provides the best tracking experience because of the easiness to encounter with a gorilla family in the rainforests of Virunga.

Apart from the gorillas, there are other tourism fraternities in this country which have contributed to the rapid attraction of visitors. These include the rare golden monkeys, chimpanzees, over 1500 bird species, and many more. Also a cultural visit to some of the villages in the country is a lifetime experience which enables one to explore deeper into the true African culture. Find out how the government has tried to restore the various cultural fraternities which had disappeared during the times of the genocide. Trust me, one can never get enough of Rwanda with a few safaris made because of the splendour guaranteed.

Also known as the smallest country and a land of a thousand hills, the country has transformed from merely a political country to a tourism nation full of wonders. This has greatly led to an increase in the number of Rwanda safaris especially during the peak season.
