Day 1: Arrival. In Entebbe
Upon arrival meet and greet with your guide and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Windsor hotel or The Boma Guest House BB.
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast head to Murchison Falls National Park, with enroute stop for Rhino tracking at Ziwa rhino sanctuary, proceed to the park for and if time allows visit the top of the murchison falls for scenic view. Dinner & overnight at the Lodge. FB
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park.
You will have an early morning cup of coffee/ tea then start a morning game drive to catch up with the preditors lion, leopard and hyenas, together with other mammals like the giraffe, elephant, antelopes, bufalloes among others. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. At 2pm, set out for a luanch trip to the bottom of the Murchison fall, aboard you will view a number of mammals and birds that include crocidiles, hippos and more. Dinner & overnight at the Lodge. FB
Day 5: Fort Portal
Today depart to Fort portal town near Kibale Forest National Park, the journey takes you through local villages. Arrive in the evening for dinner & overnight at the Lodge.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park.
Take breakfast early morning drive to the park in time for briefing, after set out to the forest to track the chimpanzees, man’s closest. Afternoon go for nature/community walk at Bigodi Sanctuary. Dinner overnight at the Lodge. FB
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you enjoy scenic views of the Mounts of the moon and the eqauator. Arrive the park in time for lunch. After lunch visit the crater lakes area for scenic views or visit the Katwa traditional salt mining site to interact with the local people and to see how salt is locally extracted. Dinner & overnight at the Lodge. FB
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today do a morning game drive in search of lion, elepant, buffaloe, antelope and many more mammals. Enjoy threat taking scenic views the 2 lakes Edward & George and the Kazinga Channel. Afternoon take a boat cruise on Kazinga channel and be treated to game viewing aboard. Return to the lodge for dinner overnight. FB
Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
This morning, you will leave for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Bwindi, home to the few remaining mountain gorillas. Dinner & overnight at the Lodge. FB
Day 10: Gorilla Tracking
After an early morning breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing, with the guide of the park rangers; you will start the trek into the forest to encounter the great apes, the mountain gorillas. The trek is usually hectic yet rewarding when you stand meters away from the mountain gorillas. We will return to the lodge for relaxation, meals and overnight stay. FB
Day 11: Transfer to Rwanda.
After breakfast, transfer, drive across Rwanda Border to Volcanoes National Park. Afternoon spent at leisure or do a community walk to meet with the local people. Dinner & overnight at the Lodge. FB
Day 12: Gorilla Tracking
After an early breakfast, drive to volcanoes National Park reaching in time for briefing after set out to the forest to track the magnificent apes, the mountain gorillas, a thrilling experience is guaranteed when before the gorillas. Duration of the tracking depends on the location of the gorillas, all the same the trek is rewarding. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. FB
Day 13: Trek to Dian Fossey’s Grave
After breakfast, start the trek to Dian Fossey’s grave and to her Gorilla Research Centre where she dedicated her life to conservation of the mountain gorillas in Rwanda. Return to the lodge dinner and overnight stay. FB
Day 14: Departure
After breakfast, do a city tour visit the museum, craft shops, Art museum, and genocide memorial center. Depending on the time of your flight drive to the Airport for departure. BB
